Our first trip was a good one.... I took Him & Her to Osmotherley.
They managed to get me there OK, although it seems to be taking them a little while to get used to handling me...I don't know why, I'm such a lovely RV ;-)
Before we set off, I reminded Him to go through the checklist I had given Him. He managed most of it well but, when we got to Cote Ghyll Caravan site , he had to go and borrow a hose off a neighbour as he had forgotten to fill my water tank. What did he think would happen...I would get it myself? Who does he think he is...his job is to look after me, not the other way round!!!
He also had trouble keeping me warm overnight... he couldn't understand how to turn on the heater, bless him, so we all shivered a little - but it wasn't too cold. I suggested he seek some help, which he did from the friendly guys at Motorhome Facts on the interweb when we got back home - so hopefully no more problems with him controlling the temperature from now on.
I found the site to be quite a good one...nice hard standing, not too close to neighbours and Him & Her gave the loos and small shop a good rating.
They left me snoozing on the site the following morning, after giving me a big belly-laugh watching them struggle down from my overcab bed...wonder how long it will be before they give up using that.... whilst they went off for a good walk and then had lunch in one of the excellent pubs in Osmotherley.
The picture is one Him & Her took on their walk - but why anyone would want to photograph snails having their lunch is beyond me!!
Got back home around 5.00pm and then they tucked me up for the night, taking care to do all they needed to settle me down for a long rest.
